Delhi Boom! (2007)
Delhi Boom! tells the tale of two brothers whose lives change dramatically following an encounter with a woman named Jennifer. Acting as catalysts, subsequent events change each brother's destiny in irreparable ways.
Set in one day on the streets of India's capital, what follows is a hard-hitting perspective of a world that comes crashing down on both brothers. Every character associated with them feels the effect of their actions until consequences come full circle by 5 pm.
Shot and directed by debutant director SAMEER PURI, English-spoken Delhi Boom! was filmed on the streets of Delhi. This unconventional action film showcases rising actors ALI ABBAS ZAIDI, MAYA MANKOTIA, KAPIL JAWA, LOKKESH JAIN and CHARU SHANKAR. Executive producers are PREMILA PURI and R.M. PURI. The director of visual effects is MAO-LIN LIAO, associate director is C.S. HARSHA, and the music composer is NIC SAUNDERS.
Post production was accomplished in Mumbai, London, and Amsterdam. An international crew - including collaborative talent from India, England, Ireland, Netherlands, China, and Australia - worked on the project to realise one vision.
